    The primarily agricultural province of Prachin Buri is located along the Cambodian boarder to the east of Bangkok, where it has been occupied for roughly 800 years. Prachin Buri province contains Khao Yai, Thap Lan and Pang Sida National Parks, which together cover over 3,000 square kilometers, the largest protected area of land in Thailand.
    A train service between Bangkok and Prachin Buri is available 4 times daily: 5.55 a.m., 8.00 a.m., 9.40 a.m., and 3.25 p.m. Trains depart Bangkok Railway Station (Hua Lamphong) at 5.55 a.m. and arrive in Prachin Buri at 8.55 a.m., while another departs at 8.00 a.m. and arrives in Prachin Buri at 10.41 a.m.
